Lilies of the Valley is Eva Donaldson (vocalist, recorder and manolin player, collector of folk music from all over the world, girl on the left) and friends invited to play along. The more music makers the better. My audiences have been known to bang on anything they can find to be counted as a Lily themselves.

I look forward to sharing my love for the music and the fantasy of life with everyone I meet.

Lilies of the Valley was born after a few weekend trips to local Renaissance Festivals inspired me. I fell in love with the beauty and magic of Faire and found myself singing the day away. I had been looking for a reason to sing and play, something to bring out the music in me. This was the perfect venue for the music I love so much. I was also lucky enough to find someone to play with and get me started. Heather (the viola player on the right) was caught up in my enthusiasm and helped get the Lilies off the ground. She felt it was too much for her to take on right now so she has since left, but her music and inspiration continues to carry me forward.
